Sunnyside is now an organic working farm with sheep situated between the lovely villages of Godshill and Whitwell, approximately 4 miles from the seaside town of Ventnor. All fields are down to grass, so there is no restriction to where you can go, we have a couple of ponds for fishing. Sunnyside Cottage has been lovingly converted by Sabrie and Brian and comprises of a kitchen/lounge/dining room with a table to seat 10, easy chairs, sky tv and video/dvd. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, including a dishwasher and large upright fridge/freezer. French doors lead onto a walled patio area for outdoor dining where barbecue plus heater, complete with gas, are provided. The four double bedrooms, 1 with French windows, provide ample space for extended families, or two families, to share the holiday. In addition there are two bathrooms, 1 with shower, bath and WC while the second has a shower and WC.
Sunnyside Cottage is available for weekly bookings throughout the year from 3pm on Saturday. Out of season deals available - 2 or 4 bedroom unit. The cottage is strictly no smoking. Evening Entertainment
Board games and videos are available. Sunnyside Cottage has Sky TV.
There are footpaths/bridle roads, leading directly from the farm onto Stenbury Down for the magnificent views. There are several excellent pubs within a mile radius all cater for children, there is even an Indian eat in/takeaway restaurant who deliver near by.
The village itself is host to many attractions including the Model Village, which depicts the entire area in miniature and The Old Smithy, a former blacksmiths forge, which is now a gift shop and fashion boutique. There are also numerous shops offering local crafts and produce, such as ciders, pickles, mustards and biscuits and welcoming tearooms, serving home made cakes along with traditional pubs, suitable for all the family with beamed ceilings and cosy fireplaces. All of which contributes to its old-world charm. NITON - has a pub, grocery store, post office, chemist and butchers selling local meats. There are several small hideaway cove’s between Ventnor and Niton for you to explore, providing superb swimming and the opportunity to buy fresh crab and lobster from the boat.
Westwards from the Esplanade, the coastal path leads to Ventnor Park, with its delightful gardens and putting green. Here a path leads up to the 22 acre Botanic Gardens, a sub-tropical paradise with Mediterranean terrace, a Temperate House and Visitor Centre with passenger lift to the gardens. BLACKGANG CHINE - an adventure playground is a day out for all the family to enjoy, the kids will love it, take yourself back to the wild west and even further to the dinosaur days and much much more.

We hope to be back again in 2008." Lewis, Chapmans and Clarkes "Thank you for all the 'little extras', very welcoming and a great start to our holiday. Lovely, spacious cottage and you really have thought of everything! We've had a great week here and despite the weather not being fantastic we have found plenty to do. Enjoyed stunning views. Nice family meals enjoyed at the Mill Bay Inn, Ventnor, the White Horse, Whitwell and afternoon tea in Godshill." Rondhaus and de la Cours - Essex/N.Devon "Wonderful House, home from home, couldn't have been more comfortable. You've thought of everything, thank you so much. The great weather was a bonus this awful summer. Wednesday night carvery at Chequers Inn, Rookley was especially nice - get there early." The Baums Leicestershire
